Family Altar and Daily Devotions For Quinquagesima

Quinquagesima Daily and Family Altar   These devotions are twofold. The morning devotion can be used with your family, or individually. The morning devotions from now until Holy Week are walking through the Gospel according to St. Mark.  The evening devotions are following the Family Altar plan in which you meditate on the Gospel for the Sunday, then the Catechism on Monday, the Introit for the forthcoming Sunday on Tuesday, the Old Testament Wednesday, the Epistle Thursday, the Gospel Friday, and the Hymn of the Day for Saturday. The evening devotions are looking forward to the upcoming Sunday in the Historic Lectionary, with the upcoming Sunday being Invocabit. There is a small liturgy that you can do with your family and spaces to put prayer requests.  May these devotions be a blessing for you.   Jesus' Sheepdog
